Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Location:Â Grangemouth / Hybrid
About the Role:Â Reed Finance are working with a well-established organisation based in Grangemouth seeking a skilled Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing sales and margin analysis, assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, and managing inventory review and control. You will also play a key role in creating annual budgets and forecast updates, and business partnering with regional directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Conduct inventory review and control
- Assist in the creation of annual budget and forecast updates
- Forecast supplier and customer rebates
- Calculate standards for manufacturing cost recoveries
- Produce analysis packs on business unit, region, and branch performance
- Submit monthly results and rolling forecasts
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in management accounting or a similar role
- Knowledge of accounting standards
- Proficiency in financial data analysis
- Experience with ERP systems
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
