Brownlee Cale are recruiting for an LV Design Engineer for our client who operates in the MEICA sector.

Candidates will support projects in various industries including Water, Power, Pharmaceutical and Food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and plan projects and update all relevant documentation as as and when required
  • Produce electrical design drawings and calculations and review those produced by LV Engineering team
  • Participate in site surveys
  • Assist in generation and technical reviews of estimates, proposals and tenders when required
  • Prepare for and attend weekly meetings for project planning andprogress review

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of BS EN (phone number removed) Power Switchgear and Controlgear Assembles,BS EN 60947 LV Switchgear & Controlgear, BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations, UKCA/CE marking requirements and ISO90001 QA systems
  • Some working experience with Power Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies
  • Proficient in Autodesk (AutoCAD) or Bentley (Mircostation/ Promis.e) and Microsoft Office software
  • ONC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering OR working to HNC/HND
  • GCSE Core Subjects - Grade C and above
