Our client is a busy sub-contractor to the housebuilding sector and looking to secure an estimator, providing services across the Scottish Housebuilding region.

Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed material take-offs from engineering drawings and specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Analyse project requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and project costs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in material take-offs and estimating within the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
