SRG are again delighted to be working with one if the most innovative biotechnology companies in Europe who have developed a renewable process which produces industrial chemicals for use on a global scale.

After years of process and product development in academia and as a stand-alone company they have opened their commercial plant and are shipping their product out to their multi-national customer base.

As part of their strategic growth they are looking to recruit a senior project engineer to support in the design and development of the commercial plant.

The Role

As a Senior Project Engineer you will work closely with the wider engineering & project delivery teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of project plans. You will be responsible forgenerating, developing and issuing documentation relating to H&S, project requirements, team development and future project commissioning. You will work on the development and subsequent execution of new feedstock projects & trials, obtaining key data and assessing suitability.

The Right Person

  • Demonstrable experience designing and delivering engineering/scientific projects
  • Relevant Engineering Qualification
  • Experience working to/with HSE regulatory bodies (e.g. SEPA)
  • Willing and able to work between sites in Grangemouth & Edinburgh
