Role Overview
This site-based role involves regular travel to clients’ sites, with the home location being one of our clients Technology’s regional offices.

The role includes:
- Electrical Installation. LV equipment including MCCs, local control panels, distribution boards, and instrumentation.
- Site Surveys. Conduct electrical surveys, establishing installation methods, and creating detailed reports.
- Risk Assessments. Contribute to and/or create risk assessments and method statements.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor apprentices or junior engineers, ensuring their safety and work standards.
- Project Management: Manage multiple jobs simultaneously, prioritising tasks effectively.
- Collaboration: Work alongside software engineers to ensure I/O is present and serviceable.
- Reporting: Report progress to the EICA Construction Manager, highlighting any concerns or opportunities for further work.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years in electrical roles within medium or large organisations.
- Valid UK driver’s licence.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and time management abilities.
- Strong communication skills at all levels, with a positive and approachable demeanour.
- Proficient in electrical installations and control systems, including control panels, MCCs, PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation.

- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 In electrical installation or equivalent.
- S7671 18th Edition
- ECS Card
- CDM Regulations 2015 knowledge required.
- BS EN (phone number removed) and BS EN 60947 (advantageous but not essential).
- SSSTS (advantageous but not essential).
