We are currently seeking an Audit/Accounts Senior to join our client's team in Grangemouth, supporting an expanding client base. A Bit About the Job
As an Accounts Senior, you will report directly to the Partners and Senior Management team. Your key duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Performing audit procedures from planning through to completion
* Preparing and reviewing accounts for Ltd companies, charities, LLPs, sole traders, and partnerships
* Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, including providing meaningful commentary
* Managing VAT compliance
* Handling corporate and personal tax compliance
* Staying up to date with technical knowledge in audit, accounts, and tax to proactively advise clients
* Working within set budgets and timescales
* Coaching and mentoring junior staff

A Bit About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* ACCA/ICAS qualification or an equivalent qualification
* Experience working in the audit department of a general practice
* Strong core skills in audit and accounting
* Part-qualified candidates with some experience in the audit profession will also be considered
* A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and to strict deadlines
* Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your own workload effectively
* Familiarity with client accounting software such as Sage Line 50 and audit software
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Knowledge of IRIS would be beneficial but not essential
