Regional Garden Centre Assistant Manager

Salary: Dependent on experienceHours: 42.5 per week

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a regional assistant manager position with a well-established garden centre group. You'll gain hands-on experience across multiple centres, learning the business as a whole and developing your leadership skills in different environments. With succession planning in mind, this role is ideal for someone looking to take the next steps towards garden centre management.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working across multiple garden centres, providing management support and covering for absence, holidays, and business needs.
  • Overseeing the indoor garden centre areas, ensuring strong stock management, merchandising, and customer service.
  • Driving sales and profit targets while coaching and developing teams to achieve high performance.
  • Managing administrative tasks, supporting warehouse operations, and maintaining high standards across all locations.
