Carbon60 are currently looking for a Stores Operative to join a client of ours who are based on the Syngenta site in Stirling. You MUST hold a full driving licence for this role.

This Stores Operative is a 12 week temp to perm position. Out client are a technology driven, specialist industrial services provider offering a wide range of mechanical engineering solutions and technical services to an incredibly broad spectrum of industries.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Work from customers MRP System - requisition it through, run report in morning, pick items required ready for collection or placed at delivery point throughout today
  • Delivered across site throughout the day
  • Use of counterbalance FLT to transport goods
  • Logging data on SharePoint or excel
  • Monitoring inbox regularly on site for customer queries or requisitions put through on email request
  • Sometimes travel off site to collect items
  • Stock up PPE rooms
  • Stock counts and consumable stock counts

Person Specification:

  • Attitude to work is key, stores/customer facing/FLT skills can be trained but prior experience in these aspects desirable
  • IT literate - basic excel skills/ data entry, comfortable with using a computer, can be provided further training if needed for more complex excel tasks
  • Stores exp desirable - are they the right fit/attitude for the team if not experienced is main focus
  • FLT license desirable - Counterbalance - ideal if previous exp or active license, can provide refresher or full training if needed though so not essential

We are looking for someone who will be ready to start by the end of November.
