Our client, a leading East Midlands Business Consultancy, is seeking to recruit an Accountant to work alongside its already established team in the Grantham Office. Once established the plan will be for this person to then take over the Practice so career opportunities alongside the future plan is exceptional
Duties for the Accountant:
- preparation of accounts for a variety of clients
- preparation of business and personal tax tax computations
- mentoring junior members of staff
- preparing self-assessment tax returns
- general bookkeeping
- assisting with payroll submissions
- liaising with HMRC
Experience for the Accountant:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified or QBE
- strong IT skills including Excel and Accountancy packages
- positive and enthusiastic
- good organisational skills
- ideally recent previous experience within a UK Accountancy Firm
