Interim Management AccountantLocation: Grantham - Hybrid & Flexible Working HoursSalary: Up to £45,000Contract: 6 MonthsWe are excited to be working with a charitable group based in Grantham who are looking to appoint a qualified Management Accountant to cover a period of permanent recruitment. As the Interim Senior Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Be accountable to the Senior Management Accountant for delivery of the draft management accounts on a monthly basis
  • Deliver a comprehensive budgetary, management, finance and business support service to relevant subsidiaries within the business
  • In line with the businesses strategic direction, work with Directors and Senior Managers to plan for, stimulate, create and deliver on new developments within the relevant subsidiaries
  • Monitor and advise Directors and Senior Managers on the financial performance of the relevant subsidiaries
  • To work alongside subsidiary management teams in any review or investigation into financial management of the subsidiary

Skills and Experience:

  • Must be a qualified Accountant with AAT or part qualified / working towards CIMA or ACCA
  • Be confident working under pressure
  • Experienced working collaboratively with senior stakeholders and operational staff
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to interpret complex written and numerical information and summarise in a way that is easily accessible
  • Experienced working with statutory accounts, external audits and group reporting
