With strong relationships with major fleets, offering call-out services for trucks. The organization is committed to sustainability and technological advances in the tyre industry.As part of their continued growth, a sister company has been established to manage fleet contracts and coordinate call-outs, focusing on efficient and sustainable operations.About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated Management Accountant to take full ownership of the bookkeeping and management accounts function for the new subsidiary. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is keen to take on more responsibility, progress within a growing business, and gain exposure to various business functions. With the study support offered, it is an ideal role for someone aiming to become a fully qualified accountant.Key Responsibilities:
  • Full ownership of the bookkeeping and management accounting function for a £2 million turnover subsidiary.
  • Preparing accruals and journal postings, including understanding various types of postings.
  • Managing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
  • Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
  • General bookkeeping duties and ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Experience in bookkeeping and management accounts, particularly with accruals and journals.
  • AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant (study support provided for further qualifications).
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, including P&L and balance sheets.
  • Experience with VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and keen to take on more responsibility within a growing company.
