SF are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant based in Grantham on a permanent basis, this is a new role due to the business growing rapidly. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work in a well-established business and potential for progression. This role offers flexible working and working from home options.
Salary up to £40,000

Job duties:
- Preparation and posting of month end and year end journals, including accruals, prepayments, loans, foreign currency revaluations and provisions
- Management of the cashbook and review of the bank statements
- Completion of balance sheet reconciliations
- Management of fixed and intangible asset postings and relevant depreciation/amortisation postings
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts reports alongside variance analysis and commentary
- Working closely with the Payroll, Sales & Purchase Ledger, VAT and Operational teams
- Supporting the Head of Commercial Finance in preparation of forecast information and partnering with the Operational teams in order to drive this
- Analysis & modelling to support the Head of Commercial Finance role
- Working with the Statutory Accounts team and providing responses to questions raised as part of the External Audit process
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Skills
- AAT Qualified, looking to or actively studying CIMA/ACA/ACCA
- Good Excel skills (and Sage experience preferable)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to explain often complex financial information clearly
- Professional and enjoys working in a team environment
