- Full ownership of the bookkeeping and management accounting function for a £2 million turnover subsidiary.
- Preparing accruals and journal postings, including understanding various types of postings.
- Managing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- General bookkeeping duties and ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Experience in bookkeeping and management accounts, particularly with accruals and journals.
- AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant (study support provided for further qualifications).
- Strong understanding of financial statements, including P&L and balance sheets.
- Experience with VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and keen to take on more responsibility within a growing company.
