Sonic Summary
- Our client is seeking an experienced Carpenter with multi-trade skills to join their voids and planned works team in Grantham and surrounding areas.
- Candidates must have proven experience as a Carpenter and provide work-related references, along with Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling Certificates.
- The role involves working in domestic properties, installing kitchens, and performing general carpentry with a focus on customer service.
- The position offers competitive pay rates, with ongoing work, paid mileage, and the possibility of overtime and weekend shifts.
- A full driving license is required, and the ideal candidate should have experience in social housing or tenanted properties.
This will involve working in domestic properties mainly in Grantham and the surrounding areas.
Working hours are 08.00 17.00 Monday to Friday with 30min lunch break.
The role: Carpenter / Multi-Trade.
Working in void and occupied domestic properties mainly in and around the Grantham area on a planned maintenance programme. This will be installing kitchens and carrying out general carpentry while offering a high standard of customer service.
Role requirements -
In order to be considered for the role you must have proven experience as a Carpenter and be able to provide details of work related references.
- Asbestos Awareness & Manual Handling Certificates (we can provide access to free
online courses)
- Have own tools and transport (company van could be provided after a few weeks service if required)
- Preferably have experience of working in social housing or tenanted properties.
- Full driving license (Max 6 points)
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Both self-employed and PAYE options are available. In return the client can offer competitive pay rates, paid mileage as well as ongoing work.
Overtime and weekend work available if desired. Longer hours available depending on demand. Van and long term subcontracting can be considered after successful probation period.
