Day-to-day of the role:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, ensuring all dietary requirements are met.
  • Manage food preparation, cooking, stock ordering, and organisation.
  • Maintain cost control and assist in coaching junior team members.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and the catering team to deliver high-quality food service.
  • Enjoy a balanced work schedule with limited late nights, most Fridays or Saturdays off (especially outside of peak season), and no working over Christmas.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in catering, ideally in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene, including allergen and dietary requirements management.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage time and workload effectively under pressure.
  • Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering is highly desirable.
  • Passion for working in a busy kitchen environment as part of a fun and friendly team.
