Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare and cook a variety of meals, ensuring all dietary requirements are met.
- Manage food preparation, cooking, stock ordering, and organisation.
- Maintain cost control and assist in coaching junior team members.
- Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and the catering team to deliver high-quality food service.
- Enjoy a balanced work schedule with limited late nights, most Fridays or Saturdays off (especially outside of peak season), and no working over Christmas.
- Proven experience in catering, ideally in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene, including allergen and dietary requirements management.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage time and workload effectively under pressure.
- Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering is highly desirable.
