Spirehouse are currently supporting a Local Authority in the East Midlands for a Reactive Repairs Supervisor.

The Opportunity:

My client in the East Midlands are seeking a Reactive Repairs Supervisor to join their repairs team. The appointable individual shall ensure that the Councils property and estates are maintained in a safe condition which minimises risk to the Council as Landlord.

The successful candidate will:

  • This role shall be customer-facing, so exceptional customer service shall need to be delivered to contractors and tenants of the properties
  • Carry out pre and post-inspection visits of more complex repairs to diagnose defects, schedule works and/or monitor quality
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement to enable the safe, effective and efficient utilisation of resources
  • Lead by example on Health and Safety, values and behaviours and adherence to financial regulations
  • Provide administration and organising of repair works to Council properties

Further information:

  • Interviews to commence ASAP
  • Interim at 3 months - possibility to go permanent
  • £30 per hour via umbrella
  • Full-time at 37 hours
  • Van/pool car provided

Requirements:

  • Full UK driver's licence with access to a vehicle
  • SMSTS/CSCS Black Card
