Estimator – Doncaster
Approach Personnel are pleased to be working with a reputable Ground Engineering and Civils contractor to recruit an Estimator as part of their pre-construction team, working on lucrative UK projects.
This Estimator role focuses around developing indepth, work-winning cost, labour and material analyses for Piled Retaining Wall tenders, bids and estimates for potential and existing clients.
Day-to-Day
As an Estimator, here’s what your day could look like:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Analysing site drawings, photos and survey reports in order to produce accurate and fair projections of cost, material and labour
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Working alongside the rest of the pre-construction and bid team to ensure pipelines, service quality and timescales are managed effectively
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Liaising with contractors and suppliers to acquire realistic costing for materials and labour
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Being a vital point of contact for clients regarding their projects, maintaining open lines of effective communication throughout each contract
About You
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Previous experience in a ground engineering, ground investigation or geotechnical based role
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Proven experience in an Estimating role
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Self-sufficient and Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and desire to progress
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Computer and Software Literate
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Full UK Clean Driving License
Salary and Contract Details
-         Competitive Salary c.£40,000+ per annum depending on experience
-         Car Allowance of £400 per month
