Residential Groundworks

70,000 - 90,000 + Package

Grantham (Covering East Midlands & East Anglia)

Turnover stands at 20m currently and there is a plan to get this toward 100m. A new Director has joined the business and he's instrumental to make this journey happen. Already bringing in 30m worth of work with NHBC developers.

The key thing here is you will be joining the story at the very beginning and reap rewards when your a Senior person toward the end of the journey.

The Role

* Oversee the management and delivery of a number of contracts, predominantly residential groundworks and civil engineering
* To effectively plan and manage directly employed operatives, sub contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to specification and within budget.
* Experience of delivering works within occupied environments is essential for this role.
* Individuals will need to be enthusiastic self-starters, be able to build relationships and demonstrate excellent communication skills to work to demanding timescales within a team delivering a variety of contracts and strategic frameworks for major clients.
* The successful candidate must have commercial awareness, being fully conversant with all aspects of construction contracts, have good Health & Safety knowledge
* IT skills are essential in particular the use of Microsoft packages.
