- Provide support to educational subscribers through newsletters, school engagement activities, and outreach initiatives.
- Develop and deliver digital resources aligned with the 5-19 curriculum in collaboration with technical experts and key stakeholders.
- Plan and execute an annual teachers' conference, typically held during the summer term.
- Design and facilitate professional development (CPD) courses for educators.
- Assist in coordinating and delivering subject-specific study tours.
- Support the management of school competitions and related events.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of hands-on educational programs in partnership with academic institutions.
- Develop new initiatives to enhance engagement with primary school educators.
- Build relationships with professionals, educational organizations, and industry partners to encourage participation in outreach activities.
- Collaborate with national initiatives and networks to expand outreach efforts within the materials science sector.
- Technical knowledge within minerals or mining discipline – ideally to degree level e.g. Science degree
- Knowledge of school curriculum
- Able to take ownership of projects and deliver on time
- Organised and methodical with excellet time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Driving license is essential.
