Education & Outreach Executive Permanent, Full-TimeLincolnshire – hybrid  A dynamic opportunity has arisen for an Educational Outreach Strategist to lead initiatives aimed at engaging young learners (ages 5-19) and their educators. This role involves developing educational resources, organising events, and delivering presentations that inspire interest in science and related fields. The position supports the organisation’s commitment to promoting the study of science within schools and other educational institutions.This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on STEM education while working closely with educators, students, and industry experts.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to educational subscribers through newsletters, school engagement activities, and outreach initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver digital resources aligned with the 5-19 curriculum in collaboration with technical experts and key stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute an annual teachers' conference, typically held during the summer term.
  • Design and facilitate professional development (CPD) courses for educators.
  • Assist in coordinating and delivering subject-specific study tours.
  • Support the management of school competitions and related events.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of hands-on educational programs in partnership with academic institutions.
  • Develop new initiatives to enhance engagement with primary school educators.
  • Build relationships with professionals, educational organizations, and industry partners to encourage participation in outreach activities.

  Person Specification:
  • Technical knowledge within minerals or mining discipline – ideally to degree level e.g. Science degree
  • Knowledge of school curriculum
  • Able to take ownership of projects and deliver on time
  • Organised and methodical with excellet time management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Driving license is essential.
