Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Grantham
Salary: 40,000 + Benefits
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm with overtime available
About Us
We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer who will collaborate with the engineering team to carry out daily maintenance tasks, ensuring all work aligns with Health & Safety regulations and site policies. Your efforts will be key in maintaining machinery and equipment, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient operations environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with Health & Safety Regulations and follows Safe Systems of Work.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct safety checks on electrical systems and equipment.
- Proactively identify and resolve recurring issues through root cause analysis, implementing solutions to improve equipment reliability.
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience within electrical maintenance of plant machinery in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) or an apprenticeship.
- Confident electrical maintenance experience, preferably in general plant machinery
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving recurring issues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with colleagues at all levels within the business.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
