Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain product specifications for new and existing food products.
  • Collaborate with product development and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  • Review ingredient declarations and nutritional information for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on specification requirements and updates.
  • Work with suppliers to gather necessary information for product specifications.
  • Update specifications in accordance with regulatory changes and internal policies.
  • Assist in resolving any specification-related issues that arise during production or quality checks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in specification writing or food product development.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and specification management software.
