A leading provider of high precision engineered components has a new vacancy for a CMM Inspector / Programmer. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all components and products meet with customer & industry requirements and applicants are sought with previous experience of CMM Inspection in a highly regulated sector.
The Role:
Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect components.
Interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications to verify product compliance.
Calibrate and maintain CMM machines to ensure consistent performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve any programming or equipment issues as they arise.
Identify and report any non-conformances and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
Complete inspection documentation and maintain accurate records.
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards throughout all inspection activities. of inspection results and programming procedures.
Work with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
The Person:
Previous experience as a CMM Inspector / Programmer.
A strong understanding of precision measuring tools and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a right first time attitude.
