Key Activities & Accountabilities

  • Attending all new jobs allocated by dispatch and Team Managers to include all domestic and commercial perils
  • Identify and follow through on new business opportunities in area
  • Ensuring Company and quality procedures are adhered (Simplicity, Health& Safety, Quality Procedures)
  • Carry out moisture surveys and drying techniques as required
  • Prepare equipment for use and ensure instruments used are calibrated
  • Liaise with customers/loss adjusters/builders/insurance companies/policy holders etc
  • Reviewing and making recommendations for new methods and techniques with Team Manager sharing knowledge and experience
  • Ensure van is equipped, clean and serviced according to manufacturer’s guidelines
  • Ensure ‘live time’ inputting of reports in line with quality procedures
  • Update ‘live jobs’ on a weekly basis
  • Ensure own, and others, health and safety and ensure that technicians are fully trained on all aspects relating to their role
  • Maintain a visit log for monitoring of jobs and effective forward bookings
  • Organising and supervising subcontractors or additional technicians/agency labourers
  • Continue professional development through the Gateway to Success framework achieving a minimum standard of Proficient as detailed
