About the Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development in EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 classrooms. Whether you are assisting on a one-to-one basis, supporting small groups, or helping the class teacher, your role will be essential in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Support the learning and development of children aged 4-11.
- Work one-to-one and in small groups, helping pupils reach their full potential.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering structured lessons and activities.
- Encourage children's social, emotional, and academic progress.
- Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (preferred but not essential).
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- A flexible and proactive mindset, able to adapt to different school environments.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
