Location: Lincolnshire, Grantham (NG31)
PayScale: 95 - 105 per day
Duration: Long-term to permanent

Work Pattern: 08:30 - 15:30 (Monday to Friday- term time only)

Long Term Futures is thrilled to present an opportunity for a Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Teaching Assistant position to join one of our partner schools. This role is part of a growing Multi-Academy Trust dedicated to providing exceptional learning experiences for students aged 5-16 with SEMH.

The Role:

  • Provided 1-1 and small group support to students with SEMH.
  • Prepare educational materials and facilitate classroom activities.
  • Take responsibility for the emotional and physical well-being of students, supporting their personal growth.
  • Assist children with SEMH needs while working alongside a dedicated and experienced team.
  • Lead classroom activities, outdoor experiences, and supervise students during activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Flexible and ready to adapt to varying student needs.
  • A caring and responsive approach to supporting students.
  • Confidence in your ability to manage challenging behaviours.
  • Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) is highly desirable.
