Location: Lincolnshire, Grantham (NG31)
PayScale: 95 - 105 per day
Duration: Long-term to permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Work Pattern: 08:30 - 15:30 (Monday to Friday- term time only)

Long Term Futures are excited to offer an opportunity to work as a Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Teaching Assistant within one of our partner schools. You will be joining a growing Multi-Academy Trust committed to providing outstanding learning experiences for all students, aged 5-16. The role has the potential to become permanent after a successful trial period.

The Role:

  • Prepare learning materials and run classroom activities.
  • Take responsibility for the emotional and physical needs of students, supporting their individual development and engagement.
  • Support children with SEMH needs alongside a dedicated, experienced team.
  • Lead classroom activities, outdoor experiences, or supervise children as they explore.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Adaptable and ready to work in various classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors based on individual needs.
  • Responsive and caring approach to supporting students.
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Driven and ambitious, committed to continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential.
