The Company:

My client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Grantham. They are an industry leading recycling company. The successful candidate will perform reactive/preventative maintenance tasks, resolving breakdowns and overall site improvement.

Responsibilities will include:

- Install, repair, and maintain all equipment including conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics

- Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and resolve problems

- Diagnose faults and carry out maintenance and repairs on various types of plant and equipment safely and efficiently

- Engage in continuous improvement workshops to suggest and implement actions aimed at enhancing productivity, processes, and quality for all plant, equipment, and facilities.

- Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts and consumables to reduce downtime.

- Maintain up-to-date documentation related to maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical knowledge - bearings, compressors, chains, hydraulics, pneumatics
  • Basic electrical skills
