An immediate opportunity for a Civil biased Site Manager to oversee the delivery of Asset Replacement, Reinforcement & New Connections projects from 33kV up to 132kV that include HV Cabling & Substation schemes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Company Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality policies are followed
- Manage and control site safety and operations.
- Ensure personnel under control are trained and competent.
- Recognise best practices and promote innovation ideas.
- Support incident investigations.
- Ensure all records/registers are kept up to date on a daily basis.
- Outage and work planning
- Performance of site teams
Requirements
- Previous experience of working on HV substation sites
- Goodknowledge of civil engineering.
- Civil qualified and be capable of carrying out engineering works;
- Emergency First Aid
- SMSTS qualified experience of working on CDM sites
