Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking an HGV Fitter for a permanent position in Grantham.
The role requires experience in manufacturing and offers a salary ranging from £13.50 to £16.00 per hour, with overtime available.
Candidates should be apprentice trained in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, with skills in mechanical fitment and adherence to health and safety standards.
The position involves working Monday to Friday for 39 hours per week, focusing on tasks such as using hand tools, power tools, and ensuring quality checks.
Applicants should have experience with high pressure hydraulic piping, and relevant licenses such as overhead crane and FLT are preferred.

Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group, focusing on manufacturing positions. We are currently recruiting for a HGV Fitter to join our client based in Grantham on a permanent basis. The role: HGV Fitter Are you an HGV Fitter that has worked in Manufacturing and looking for a new challenge? Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 39hours per week

Overtime: Available Hourly: £13.50 – £16.00

Key Responsibilities:

Following engineering plans, drawings, and instructions.
Use of hand tools and power tools, ease in handling calibrated equipment and quality check.
Mechanical fitment of components on the chassis and truck body.
General coach building and body fitment on HGV

Skills and Experience:

Apprentice trained (Heavy vehicle maintenance and repair)
Cleaning tools, equipment, and work areas to maintain general 5S.
Adherence to health and safety standards.
Good attention to detail
Passion for continuous improvement
Experience with High pressure hydraulic piping (kitting, crimping) and joining
Overhead crane license
FLT license
