Introduction:

We are looking for a Shot blaster to join our client’s team in Grantham on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidate. Our client is a Global market leader in their field with employee’s being at the heart of the business.

The hours are Monday to Thursday 7.15am - 5.00pm and overtime is available on Fridays and weekends at premium rate of time and a half.

Objective:

As a shot blaster the role is key to the production process, you will be ensuring all metal are clean and free from defects ready for the next process of painting and despatch.

Duties for the role of shot blaster:

• You will be working a small team in full suit, breathing apparatus and booth environment.
• Using shotblast to clean down metal.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of product from machine.
• Use of overhead cranes

Requirements:

You must be physically fit due to the nature of product, able to work in small team, be logical and methodical and have good standard of written and spoken English. This role of shot blaster would be suitable for anyone who has worked shot blasting / paint spraying environment previously.
