About the Company:
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our clients finance team in Grantham. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data analysis and a keen eye for detail. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the organisation's financial success and growth. Previous experience working in a financial services environment would be beneficial to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting Company Directors and General Manager with a variety of accountancy and general administration duties.
- Providing data analysis and reports from bespoke software reports and Excel documents.
- Liaising with colleagues and stakeholders in the wider business.
- Front line local audit and data accuracy checks.
- Reconciling financial statements.
- General administrative tasks as delegated, including postal duties, filing, and key holder responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- A high level of MS Office literacy, specifically of Excel. GCSE / Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in English in Maths.
- Flexibility to be available to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, including telephone, emails, and physical documents.
- High attention to detail in regards your own output and to support colleagues in other areas.
- Positive and proactive approach.
- Experience working in a financial services environment preferable but not essential.
- AAT qualifications desirable but not essential.
