Your new role

You will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of contractors, escorting them around the establishment and on and off construction sites.Main Duties:

  • Escort Contractors and visitors around the prison site to areas of maintenance/building work
  • Ensure the Contractor has permission to be on site
  • Ensure they are not bringing any prohibited items onto the site
  • Ensure all doors and gates are locked as you move through the prison.
  • Follow all security and safety procedures
  • Ensure all work site entrances are manned throughout the day
  • Where applicable, check all vehicles coming onto the site.

Working hours will be Monday-Friday (40 hours per week). Split into 8 hours every day, Monday-Friday.You will be required to have an enhanced security clearance carried out by the organisation to ensure you are able to work on site.
