gap healthcare is currently recruiting for a new and exciting opportunity on behalf of our client based in Grantham for an experienced Senior Support Workers for a children’s home.

This role is permanent and fulltime, salary up to £32,000-£34.000 per annum (based on experience).

Our client provides specialist support to children and young people in care.

Purpose of the Role:

To be responsible for shaping and delivering the Children’s residential home’s Statement of Purpose and managing the team to achieve the same. To provide high-quality care services that support the needs of the residents, to be an advocate for their well-being, and to provide strong, motivational leadership to staff.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To Shift lead and Support your team members whilst looking after Children and Young People within the Childrens home.
  • To be part of an On-Call system.
  • Ensure professional ethics and behaviour are always demonstrated by all staff. Provide support, advice, and coaching to support workers within the Home.

Main requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role. 
  • Thorough understand of OFSTED compliance.
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care - Children Services.
  • Driver with access to a car.
