SEN Teaching Assistant - Mainstream Primary School - Grantham

Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? Simply Education is seeking an enthusiastic and patient individual to support children with additional needs in a mainstream primary school in Grantham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive school environment, helping children develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

The Role:

- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND and SEMH.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored interventions and differentiated activities.
- Support children in developing social, emotional, and academic skills in a nurturing environment.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive engagement.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure pupils receive the best possible support.

What We're Looking For:

- Experience working with children with SEND (school, nursery, or care setting).
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- An understanding of EHCPs, differentiation, and inclusive teaching strategies (desirable but not essential).
- A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or SEND support is beneficial but not required.
