Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established business in Grantham that is looking for a strategic and hands-on professional to take ownership of their procurement function.
As Purchasing Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring cost-effective sourcing, supplier management, and efficient supply chain operations.The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and strong relationships
- Managing supplier performance to ensure quality, reliability, and on-time delivery
- Identifying and mitigating risks within the supply chain
- Collaborating with internal teams to align procurement with business needs and production schedules
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role within manufacturing or engineering
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Ability to analyse data, forecast demand, and optimise costs
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
