GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join schools in Hasland immediately. Whether you are an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' mathematical understanding and problem-solving abilities. As a Maths Teacher, you will be delivering high-quality lessons in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities of a Teacher of Maths:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Inspire and challenge students to reach their full potential in Mathematics.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Participate in school activities and contribute to the wider school community.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Mathematics Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary key stages.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students through creative teaching approaches.
- Must be a driver with access to own transport.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
