Practice Accountant

Job Title: Practice Accountant (15-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Gravesend

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Practice Accountant to join our client's team on a 15-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality accounting services to our clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping using systems such as Quickbooks online and Xero.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns for a variety of clients.
• Accounts preparation from manual records or bookkeeping systems to final accounts for presentation to clients.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for clients.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications and Experience:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified or qualified or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
