Large Forklift Driver, Based; Milton, Gravesend, Salary: £14.27ph + overtime @ £21.41ph, excellent company benefits, 33 days holiday (inc bank holidays), 40hr week Monday-Friday sociable hours. 

We have an opportunity for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / FLT Driver to join the market leading provider of Portable cabins, Secure Storage Solutions, Modular buildings and associated products. The depot operation prepares and refurbishes the units ready for hire or sale. The purpose of the role is to assist in the movement and storage of cabins within the depot facility. The company offer genuine career progression routes.

Experience of driving large16t forklifts and/or a B2/B3 licence would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided to candidates who have the standard Counterbalance Forklift licence. Applicants will need to be a confident forklift driver and willing to train to drive 16t forklift trucks and lift 32ft units.

Forklift Driver Key duties:

  • Loading and unloading units from vehicles.
  • The selection of units as required by workshop.
  • General maintenance of forklift and other MHE equipment.
  • Loading of a range of furniture into the cabins and removing on completion of hire.
  • The fitting and removal of partitions & other fittings.
  • Adhere to all site Health & Safety standards at all times.
