My manufacturing client based in Northfleet is seeking an experienced Senior Fitter to join their team.
The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, a good understanding of Health & Safety practices, and the ability to communicate effectively within a team.
Responsibilities include high-level fabrication skills, investigating breakdowns, routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
The position requires mechanical skills, welding qualifications, and knowledge of Word and Excel, with a salary range of £39,000 to £46,000 depending on experience.
Candidates are expected to have experience within a manufacturing environment, and the role is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday.

My manufacturing client based in Northfleet is loking for a new experienced Senior Fitter to join their team. The ideal canddidate will be highly organised with a good working knowledge of Health & Safety & Environmental practices and will have the ability to work and communicate well within an established team.

Senior Fitter Responsibilites:

Fabrication skills incldung welding, burning, cutting and grinding - to a high level.
Investigate breakdowns, facilitate repairs, carry out RCA to prevent reoccurance.
Routine fixed plant maintenance.
Ensuring plant / equipment in maintained to a high level and meets all statutory and company requirements.
Full compliance with job specific safety requirements.
Provide leadership and motivation of the production team.
Manage projects / installation of new machinery.

Requirements:

Possess mechanical and practical skills to facilitate on site repairs to fixed plant (Essentional)
Wedling, burning and fabrication qualification (Essential)
Knowledge of Word and Excel (Essential)
Good working knowledge of processing plant and mobile plant (Desired)
Electrical knowledge (Desired)
Counterbalance Forklift Certificate (Desired)
NEBOSH Certificate (Desired)
Experience within a manufacuturing environment (Desired)

This is a full tiem permanent position working Monday to Friday between the hours 7am-4pm (can be slightly flexible in required). They are offering the annual salary between £39-46k depending on experience.
