Do you have leadership experience within a warehouse?

Our well established client are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. If you have a passion for driving operational excellence, managing teams, and optimising warehouse processes, this is an excellent opportunity for you!

Duties:

  • Ensuring that all company procedures, regarding goods movements, labelling and storage are trained and implemented throughout the warehouse.
  • Responsible for carrying out stock checks and cycle counts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and coordinate internally to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and maintain quality control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, resolve issues, and improve overall warehouse performance.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
  • Monitor usage of sundry items and consumables, reporting any shortages.
  • Ensure that all allergens are correctly labelled and located.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement appropriate solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the cleaning plan is implemented and signed off
  • Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:

  • Previous experience in a leadership position within a warehouse
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • A drive to lean and develop within the role
  • Computer literate with the ability to operate different computer software systems.

This is a great opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join a clients team and lead the warehouse team.
