Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young people and a commitment to providing a nurturing and inspirational learning environment. You will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that pupils remain engaged and on task with their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise classes during the absence of teachers, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Implement lesson plans and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Support pupils in their learning and personal development.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other colleagues to support pupil progress.
Provide feedback to teachers on pupil engagement and behaviour.

Requirements:

Experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the needs of the school.
