Portfolio Procurement is seeking a Junior Supplier Quality Engineer for a leading manufacturing business located in Kent.
The role involves developing and managing the Supplier Assessment Process, conducting supplier audits, and performing product inspections to ensure quality standards.
Candidates should possess a technical or engineering qualification such as a Degree or HNC and have 6-12 months of relevant experience.
Experience in Supplier Assessment and Audit processes, along with knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, is required.
Proficiency in key Microsoft software, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is also necessary for this position.

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged to recruit a Junior Supplier Quality Engineer for a leading manufacturing business based in Kent.

The Role:

Deliver the development, implementation and management of the companies Supplier Assessment Process
Conduct on-site supplier audits processes to ensure suppliers are approved and continue to meet the on-going requirements
Carry out inspection & testing of products to ensure they meet quality expectations.

Experience:

Technical or engineering qualification: Degree, HNC or equivalent
6-12 months experience in a similar position
Experience of Supplier Assessment and Supplier Audit processes
Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
Competent in key MS software particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
