Job Title: Asbestos Lab AnalystLocation: Gravesend, Kent. Salary / Benefits £24k - £30k + Training + BenefitsA South East based UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy are now seeking to recruit an Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will hold the BOHS P401 qualification and will have extensive experience carrying out the analysis of asbestos bulk samples, using PLM and stereo microscopy, working in line with HSG 248 guidelines. " Will have in-depth knowledge of HSG 248 guidelines. " Experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy would be beneficial to the role. " Excellent observational skills. " Good communication skills and will be professional and polite. The Role:" Carrying out asbestos bulk sample analysis using PLM and stereo microscopy, ensuring to work in line with HSG 248 guidelines. " Ensuring that all samples are logged onto internal systems, and they are stored safely and correctly. " Safely preparing samples for analysis. " Contributing to maintaining the companies UKAS accreditation. " Correctly filling out job sheets upon completion of sample analysis. " Calibrating equipment when required, ensuring that the laboratory is kept clean and tidy. " Communicating with clients when required and providing excellent technical support and advice.
