Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Gravesend
Pay:
£88 - £110 per day (via PAYE)

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a safe and stimulating environment for pupils where children feel confident and comfortable to work to the best of their ability
  • Establish professional relationships with pupils and interact with them according to their individual needs
  • Adapt teaching styles appropriately to student’s individual needs and interests to facilitate enjoyable and effective learning experiences
  • Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) to ensure inclusivity and engagement in the classroom

Requirements

  • A HLTA qualification or willingness to work towards one
  • Prior experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Ability to work well as part of a team as part of a multi-agency approach
  • Flexibility and adaptability in supporting different subjects and age groups
