- Preparation of Income and Expenditure Accounts
- Completing Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and self-employed business owners
- Assist your Line Manager and colleagues with accounts/tax/administration services
- Undertake research
- New tax set-up, on-boarding/MLR checks on the relevant system and obtain HMRC authority to act
- Communicate with clients and other external parties via email/telephone/letter
- Preparation of SATR to include Land and Property Pages, Foreign, Residence & Remittance, and Capital Gains Summary Pages
- Computing Income Tax, CGT, NI, and CIS liabilities and advising clients accordingly
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks
- Be self-motivated
- Have good interpersonal skills – the ability to build rapport effectively and professionally with colleagues, clients, and external contacts
- Have good written communication skills – when corresponding with clients and HMRC
- Be highly numerate
- Possess good time management and organisational skills so that they can prioritise and effectively manage a varied workload
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met
- Experience of using MS Office – especially Word, Excel and Outlook
- 1-3 years’ relevant work experience
- AAT/ATT/ACCA qualified or working towards achieving a professional qualification

- Salary range: £25,000 to £30,000 p.a. depending on skills and experience
