Overview:
Our client is one of the leading Transport & Logistics businesses in Europe. Amongst their suite of services to their customers, is the provision of comprehensive European road transport solutions. As part of their continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an Internal Sales Executive to join their team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities both with new customers and within existing customer accounts.
  • Handle incoming sales enquiries, qualify leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals in response to customer requirements.
  • Work closely with external business development managers to maximise the capture of new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIS.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in a sales role, ideally within the road freight, transport, or logistics industry.
  • Knowledge of FTL, LTL and Groupage.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a passion for sales and achieving targets.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
