We are currently seeking a skilled 7.5t driver to join our clients team and deliver mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) to various locations. As a 7.5t driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the MEWPs are safely transported to customer sites and ready for use.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver MEWPs to designated locations
- Load and unload MEWPs onto the delivery vehicle using appropriate equipment
- Ensure that all necessary documentation, including delivery notes and invoices, are completed accurately and promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects or issues
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies while driving and handling MEWPs
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous attitude during all interactions
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes
Requirements
- Valid 7.5t driving license with no more than 3 penalty points
- Proven experience as a 7.5t driver, preferably in a similar industry
- Knowledge of road transport regulations and tachograph rules
- Ability to read and understand delivery instructions and maps
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately
- Physically fit and able to handle the loading and unloading of MEWPs safely
( minimum 8 hour shift )Â
