The Recruitment Crowd is seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) for a well-known client in the Grays area.
The position offers a pay rate of £15.51 per hour PAYE and requires candidates to have a full UK driving license with Class 2 entitlement.
Candidates should have valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards, and no more than 6 points on their license for minor offences.
The role involves securely transporting palletised parcels, with shifts planned in advance, starting at 16:30pm, across Monday to Sunday.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in Grays area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours:Shifts across Monday to Sunday, 16:30pm starts

Pay Rate:£15.51 per hour PAYE

Location:Grays, RM20

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance.
Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
Handling runs with 4-5 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
