HIAB Driver (HGV 1 / HGV 2 Driver), Based out of Grays, Essex covering the South-East, Salary: £18.29ph + overtime paid at £27.44ph, with 33 days holiday inc bank holidays, Excellent Benefits. Opportunities to train. 40hrs per week on a permanent contract.
We have an opportunity for a HIAB driver with HGV1 or HGV 2 licence and lorry loader operator licence (CSCS/ALLMI) to join a leading provider of Portable cabins / Modular buildings and associated solutions.
HIAB Driver role:
Responsible for the safe & effective loading/unloading of portable cabin and accommodation units to customer sites.
Candidate requirements:
- Hold a valid and clean HGV 1 Driver or HGV 2 Driver licence
- Qualified lorry loader operator (CSCS/ALLMI) is essential
- Experience of pulling trailers and using chains to lift
- Experience as a Hiab Driver or Tanker Driver would be advantageous
- Good understanding and knowledge of current regulations with regards to EU driver hours, Working Time Directive and Driver’s Tachograph restrictions.
- Demonstrate flexibility as some appointments may require you to be away from home during the week and driving other vehicles at other locations when required and to meet business demands.
