We’re hiring a Chemical Process Operator to join a leading privately-owned chemical manufacturing company. With over £125 million annual turnover and a team of 500+ professionals across the UK, we’re at the forefront of innovation and safety in the industry. Join us at our West Thurrock site and play a vital role in ensuring our chemical plant operates smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor and oversee the production process to ensure quality and safety.
  • Log and archive data to maintain accurate records.
  • Manage stock to ensure resources meet production demands.
  • Work closely with the Lab Department to uphold standards.
  • Supervise goods in and out, including loading/unloading road tankers using forklifts.
  • Report issues promptly to the appropriate manager or department.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective clothing at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as a Process Operator (1 year preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Prior chemical processing experience is an advantage.
